Revolving doors

25 Jul

This was the first year that I’d known our graduating students for most or all of their time at university (I took this job three years ago). So I’m particularly proud to congratulate Katherine, Samantha, Tracey, Alex, Amy and friends.

Congratulations to all others, too, but you’re the ones who have a web presence through your blogs or through the faculty website.

I’m keen to learn how your careers develop (I track your challenges and successes in my Forward column) – and am looking to welcome back some recent students as early as induction week in September to help welcome a new generation of PR students. You move on; I start all over again…

Thank you Richard for all your encouragements. I too was very sorry not to see you after the ceremony, although I did look. I reckon we must have missed each other, which is a shame. I shall definitely keep you informed of my progress through email and the blog. And if I am ever in the position to grant a favour do not hesitate to ask.
Good luck with the newbies but, of course, you don’t need it.

Cheers Richard, good to see you after the ceremony, seemed to miss all the others! Please pass on my regards to Liz. Haven’t decided what the future of my blog holds, do want to keep it going I think, any suggestions welcomed!
