A free teleseminar in early April will attempt to go ‘towards a new global model for public relations’. It’s to be moderated by Toni Muzi Falconi (from Italy) and involves James Grunig, Anne Gregory and Sriramesh Krishnamurthy (public relations academics representing America, Europe and Asia).
You can register for free via the PRSA website, but note that it’s running at two different times on 3 April and 4 April to meet the needs of a global audience.
It should be interesting. On a side note, the “real” conference is not cheap ($3500): http://www.prsa.org/_Advance/seminars/70040.asp?ident=sem40
I did register, and it was (sort of) free. I’ve had to pay an $18 dollar fee because I can’t assume that a US toll free number will work from the UK. I’m signed up to listen in at midnight UK time, so I hope the speakers will keep me awake…
