There’s a request for PR practitioners to complete the survey at Blog Relations about the relationship between blogs and business.
Meanwhile, a conference on public relations in Iran is also asking some interesting questions about the relationship between cyber PR and civil society; and discussing weblogs and freedom of expression. Though I teach students from all around the world, I do tend to view public relations within the context of a media-saturated liberal democracy and consumer society. Perhaps some contributors to Global PR Blog Week 2.0 could address these wider issues?
