Clive Armitage of Bite Communications is interviewed by Jeremy Pepper. Here’s his advice for students:

Never give up wanting to learn. Anyone going into the industry, they have to have a voracious appetite to learn. PR is fast moving, and the rules are changing rapidly, and you must be able to soak up information quickly. People going into the industry need to be open minded. My advice is to get into the industry, submerge yourself, and then find the sections [sic] you want to work in.

    Hello Richard,
    I enjoyed our conversation. The podcast will be up soon and I will let you know.
    Yes, I believe the two – PR and education – go hand in hand. We are both involved in the sharing of information, educating/persuading publics to consider (perhaps adopt) innovations.
    I hope I never stop learning, too. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with me and my students.
