The Body Shop has found that almost three quarters of a million mobile phone handsets have been dumped since Christmas. The company wants us to recycle them for charity instead.
It’s a timely seasonal campaign, and gains a news report on the BBC.

I get a newsletter called the webmaster weekly, and in the latest issue at http://thewebmasterweekly.com/webmasterweekly1500.htm I saw a snippet in there about a marathon runner who is asking for old cell phones that he can recycle to raise cash for the Blue Cross.
