I needed some information on typography for a class, but not so badly that I needed a book. (Background note: I once trained as a typesetter. So long ago that PCs were uncommon and frequently not PC compatible).
Thanks to Google and the web I found what I wanted. Here’s a virtual museum of typography.
You might think this makes it too easy for students to gain a ‘little learning’. True. But the demands of work and study in the twenty-first century mean that we’re asked to be instant experts on a wide range of topics.
