It seems we’re still fascinated by celebrity – but our interest in the lifestyles of the rich and famous may be evolving. That’s if there’s a pattern in the stagnant or declining sales of the glossy lifestyle publications, against growth in publications that cover celebrities as flesh and blood. People don’t fall for all the PR spin which is pumped out, they know celebs are people – not cardboard cut-outs. We are living in a celebrity-literate society.
